Our co-op meets weekly for 13 weeks in the fall and spring semesters each year.
We presently meet at a church in Liberty, MO, and serve families from Liberty, North Kansas City, Smithville, Kearney, Platte City, Parkville, Gladstone, Excelsior Springs, Lawson, Pleasant Valley, Kansas City, and beyond.

Joining our Kansas City homeschool co-op is a powerful way to enrich your family's homeschooling journey with connection, community, and support.
While homeschooling offers incredible freedom and flexibility, it can sometimes feel isolating—for both parents and children.

For students, SEICHE Co-op provides:

* consistent, weekly opportunities for your students to learn in group settings
* experience in hands-on classes
* opportunities to build lasting friendships with other homeschool students from families with shared values
* a variety of fantastic classes and subjects that can be difficult to replicate for 1 or 2 students at home (think science experiments, vocal music, and drama)

For parents, Co-op provides:

* a community of Christian parents who will come alongside you as you educate your children according to your plan
* a chance to share you gifts and talents through teaching at co-op
* a place to make new friends and form connections with other like-minded homeschool families

All SEICHE Co-op classes are taught by our wonderful volunteer parents who teach what they are passionate about, so our class offerings vary by semester. That being said, the SEICHE Co-op team is intentional about curating semester class offerings to meet the needs of our families.

Every semester, SEICHE Co-op prioritizes enriching, immersive, extracurricular, classes for every age group: 4-5, 6-8, 9-12, & 13-18 with some classes may span multiple age groups.

A few of our popular co-op classes include:
* Art (Watercolor, Lino Print, Cardboard Creations, & Discovering Great Artists)
* Music (Percussion, Vocal Music, Meet the Orchestra, Rhythm Band)
* Geography (Around the World with Books & Food, Passport to America)
* PE & Movement Games
* Improv and Drama for all ages


In addition, SEICHE Co-op features:
* Community lunch
* Recess for ages 4-12
* Full rosters in every age range - lots of opportunities to make friends your students' ages!
* Nursery for young siblings

All SEICHE Members are eligible to enroll in SEICHE Co-op in and receive priority registration for classes.

What makes the SEICHE homeschool co-op truly unique is the way we operate as a Christ-centered, family-led community, not just a collection of classes.
Rooted in Liberty, Missouri, and serving families throughout the Kansas City Northland and beyond, SEICHE is built on the belief that homeschooling thrives through meaningful relationships and a shared purpose.

Unlike co-ops that focus primarily on academics or require parents to teach, SEICHE offers a thoughtful balance. Parents remain on-site and contribute through assigned roles, but teaching is optional. Those who choose to teach are offered mentorship and support along the way.

Our weekly classes focus on hands-on, interactive extracurriculars that encourage students to explore interests, learn new skills, and connect with their peers.
We intentionally keep class sizes manageable, averaging around 8 students in our younger classes (ages 4-5) and 12 students in our older classes (ages 6-8, 9-12, & 13-18), allowing for greater interaction, collaboration, and individual support.
Nursery care is also available for younger siblings.

One of SEICHE’s greatest strengths is our thriving teen community.
Unlike many co-ops, we have strong participation among students ages 13 and up, giving teens opportunities to build friendships and remain connected to a homeschool community as they grow.

We recognize that every family’s schedule and needs are different. SEICHE offers the flexibility to enroll in anywhere from one to all four hours of classes each semester.
We encourage families to consider at least two hours, as spending more time together creates additional opportunities for both parents and children to form friendships and build meaningful relationships.

Beyond weekly classes, our end-of-semester Showcase, community lunches, recess, and wider SEICHE events and field trips give families even more ways to connect.
